SENIOR PRIVILEGES - STATUS UPDATE Senior Trip is not possible because there must be a curricular connection
Some teachers are keeping students in their classrooms up to 30 minutes into the next block to finish tests/assignments and this is causing interruptions.
Teachers do not need to disrupt other teacher’s classes. Other arrangements need to be made for students who need more time
Suggestion for bells to be used to start and end lunches within the buildings.
Tardy bells are going to be programmed for five minutes after the end of each lunch. (12:35 and 1:10)
Request that students not be allowed to work in the 100 teacher's lounge; we would like there to be at least one space that is just a teacher space in the building. Things are disappearing out of the refrigerator and we're not sure if this is because of students or adults.
Students should not be in the 100 teacher’s lounge. Please keep the door closed and locked.
Are we sticking to the "no hood in the upright position" policy? Some students are claiming that other teachers don't care and are getting attitudes when they are asked that they take it off.
Teachers need to remind students of this part of the dress code especially as the weather gets colder.
Would it be feasible to ask students to do a better job cleaning up after themselves at lunch with the option of putting all food items in the cafeteria for one week if they do not correct the problem? It is an issue to the appearance of the school and the work load on our custodial staff.
Teachers on lunch duty are expected to remind students to pick up their trash. Teachers need to also double check lunch duty and make sure to be where they are supposed to be.
